Worth taking your time
This was my first wrap project, so I went slowly. The pre-cut panels helped, but the curves still took patience. Seeing the finished car made the effort feel worthwhile.

PRE-CUT. LESS GUESSWORK.
Skip measuring and cutting every panel from a full roll. Your WrapBug kit comes pre-cut for your selected Tesla—so you can focus on the fit and finish.
1
Clean and dry the panel, including its edges. Match the pre-cut piece to the correct area before peeling the liner.

BEFORE YOU WRAP
From choosing your kit to installation and care, here’s what to know before transforming your Tesla.
Yes. WrapBug kits are precision CNC pre-cut for the individual body panels of your selected Tesla model. You won’t need to measure and cut each panel from a full roll.
Please check your vehicle model and year carefully before ordering. Alignment, stretching and edge finishing are still part of the installation process.
Yes—with patience, preparation and the right tools. The pre-cut design makes the process more approachable, but vinyl wrapping still takes practice, particularly around curves and edges.
Review the installation guide before starting and work one panel at a time. If you’re unsure about a difficult area, consider help from an experienced installer.
Paint condition matters. Sound, fully cured factory paint is generally better suited to vinyl wrapping than repainted, chipped or peeling surfaces.
Existing paint defects or poor-quality repairs can increase the risk of damage during removal. Inspect your paint before installation and follow the recommended installation and removal instructions.
Wrap lifespan depends on the material, installation quality, climate, sun exposure and maintenance. Outdoor parking and harsh weather can shorten its life.
Gentle washing and covered parking can help preserve the finish. Please contact us for durability information specific to your selected wrap.
Installation time depends on your experience, vehicle model and the number of panels you’re wrapping. For a first full-car project, allow several days so you can prepare the surface and work carefully without rushing.
Pre-cut panels reduce measuring and cutting work, but positioning and finishing still take time.
Please check the “What’s in the Box” section on this product page for the exact included tools and accessories.
You may also need additional equipment, such as a heat gun and suitable surface-cleaning supplies. If you’re unsure what to prepare, contact us before beginning installation.
Yes. Vinyl wraps can be removed when you want to change the look of your Tesla. Use the recommended heat and removal technique rather than pulling the film off forcefully.
Older or weathered film may require more care, and some adhesive residue may need cleaning. Professional removal is recommended if the paint is repainted or in poor condition.
Product photos provide a visual reference, but the actual color can look different depending on lighting, viewing angle and your screen settings.
Matte, metallic and color-shift finishes can vary noticeably between indoor light and direct sunlight. If an exact shade is important, contact us about sample availability before ordering.
WrapBug provides a pre-cut kit for you to install, while a wrap shop’s price typically includes professional labor, preparation, installation and workshop overhead.
Doing the installation yourself can reduce the overall cost. Your savings will depend on the kit, any extra tools you need and whether you choose professional help for any part of the job.
